Fresh veggies from my garden
I am NOT a gourmet cook. I'm too white trash for that. :) I like to think of my cooking more as classic comfort food. I don't tend to use anything to exotic. But I am willing to try anything as long as it is not too expensive and one of my friends will be willing to eat it. So if you're looking for some great family recipes you came to the right place.

Stuffed porkchops

This is a simple recipe that I threw together one day. You will need 4-5 boneless porkchops. 1 cup each ground linguica or chourice (these are portuguese sausages), uncooked Stove Top Stuffing and cut up baby bella mushrooms.
Pre heat your oven to 375.

My first blog.

Last year I started collecting recipes and cooking new dishes. The inspiration came from utilizing foods I had grown in my new vegetable garden. I find cooking relaxing and a rewarding way to pass time. I started talking about my dishes on Facebook and a friend recommended I blog about it. So here I am.
The ironic part of my cooking is that I am a very fussy eater. As a matter of fact there are several of my recipes that I haven't eaten myself. Especially anything involving veggies. I have a room mate and a few friends that are my guinea pigs. They test, critique and enjoy my creations. I love working with my hands, creating and making people happy. I can accomplish all this through cooking so we all win!
I search the web and ask friends for recipes. I will then combine and or tweak recipes to make them my own. There are a few that are all my own. Those are the hardest for me to put into my blog since I tend to just add stuff and not measure as I am cooking.
I hope you enjoy any recipes that you may find on here. And from time to time hopefully I can make you laugh and entertain you as well. Any recipes, suggestions or helpful tips are more than welcome.
